Julie Rytlewski, PhD
Senior Director, Translational Predictive Modeling Team, Cell Therapy Correlative Research Team
Bristol Myers Squibb
Julie Rytlewski is Director of Cell Therapy Correlative Research within the Informatics and Predictive Sciences organization at Bristol Myers Squibb, where she applies machine learning and computational biology to advance cell therapy development. She co-leads BMS's Cell Therapy Correlative Research Team, a cross-functional group of approximately 100 scientists across the US and Europe dedicated to finding innovative answers to key questions in cell therapy and oncology.
Julie's research focuses on applying AI and machine learning to large clinical datasets to identify biological connections that inform therapeutic decisions—including patient selection, manufacturing outcomes, and treatment response prediction. Her work spans multiple tumor types and therapeutic modalities, with a particular focus on CAR-T cell therapies. She has published extensively on predictive biomarkers in clinical oncology, including high-impact work on patient characteristics associated with CAR-T manufacturing success and clinical outcomes.
Julie holds a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.
