Julia A. Scott, PhD is co-founder and Chief Science Officer of Gambit Labs. Gambit Labs’ mission is to empower youth to take the lead in ensuring their own well-being by developing specific cognitive skills that underlie healthier habits of mind. The motivation comes from her research in cognitive neuroscience of neurodevelopmental disorders and working with young adults. The company develops biofeedback, game-based interventions for ADHD. At Santa Clara University, she directs the Brain and Memory Care Lab, which focuses on XR and Neurotechnology applications in healthcare. She advises immersive technology companies in their research practices. As a senior advisor for XRSI medical council, she works toward data privacy and user safety standards for immersive healthcare.
