Judith Kelleher-Andersson, PhD has served as Founder and CEO of Neuronascent since company inception leading discovery and development of novel therapies for neurological disorders through to early-stage clinical trials. Dr. Kelleher-Andersson has raised $2M of equity financing, and to-date, has won approximately $8M in nondilutive grant funding from the NIA to support Neuronascent. She is an experienced entrepreneurial executive with over 25 years CNS drug development experience in pharma industry and over 70 global patents authored as primary inventor. Prior to Neuronascent, Dr. Kelleher-Andersson was Director of R&D at Centaur Pharmaceuticals where she led the discovery of a novel therapy for Alzheimer's disease. She was also Director of R&D for Neuralstem and Co-PI on a DARPA grant where the project led to the discovery of a novel antidepressant therapy. Dr. Kelleher-Andersson obtained her PhD in biochemistry from University of Missouri Columbia, and completed two post-doctoral fellowships at University of California Los Angeles and University of California San Francisco.
