Jon Gunther is Vice President of Business Development at Just-Evotec Biologics, where he is focused on leading partnering activities with biologics therapeutic developers. During his tenure at Just, Jon has spearheaded collaborations with large bio-pharmas, innovative biotech startups, government organizations, and non-profits. In these collaborations, Jon and his Just colleagues endeavor to enable its partners to expand global access to biotherapeutics by dramatically reducing manufacturing costs. Throughout his 15+ year career, Jon has worked at other leading Seattle-based biotechs, such as Amgen, Juno Therapeutics, and Sana Biotechnology, in both technical and business oriented roles. Jon has a Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of California, Santa Barbara and an MBA from the University of Washington.
