Jinkuk Choi, Ph.D., is the Chief Strategy Officer at Elisigen, where he plays a pivotal role in bridging the company's scientific innovations with global market opportunities. As a recognized drug discovery leader, Dr. Choi spearheads Elisigen's corporate strategy and its aggressive expansion within the AAV gene therapy space. He actively drives critical external business development partnerships, oversees key R&D and clinical development programs, and represents the company at major industry conferences.
Prior to his current executive role at Elisigen, Dr. Choi served as Scientific Director at Biogen, where he led a dedicated team focused on advancing novel AAV technologies and managed the portfolio's gene therapy programs. With over 15 years of post-PhD experience specializing in neurology and rare diseases, his deep technical expertise spans gene therapy, small molecules, and oligonucleotides. Dr. Choi holds a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology from Stanford University and a B.Sc. in Bioscience from Seoul National University.
