Jimmy serves as the Deputy Administrator of Nevada Medicaid at the Nevada Health Authority where he oversees the managed care program, medical, dental, and behavioral health benefits policy, and rates. Prior to joining the Nevada Health Authority, he spent several years in the private sector as an executive leader at a legislative and regulatory consulting firm, where he specialized in designing and implementing innovative and transformative health care policy. Jimmy received his Juris Doctor cum laude from the William S. Boyd School of Law, holds bachelor’s degrees in political science and international affairs from the University of Nevada, and is licensed to practice law in Nevada. In his free time, Jimmy enjoys watching hockey, exploring the mountain ranges of Nevada with his Blue Heeler, Barty, spending time at his family’s cabin in rural Northeastern Nevada, and attending as many punk, pop-punk, and emo concerts he can find.
