Jim Traficant serves as FDA Senior Advisor in the Office of the Commissioner. Mr. Traficant has led companies in government, commercial, and international healthcare markets delivering innovative solutions for the Departments of War, Veterans Affairs, HHS, Kaiser Permanente, National Health Service, and others including the first-ever joint venture with Johns Hopkins Medicine.
Mr. Traficant is a rare diseases patient and parent. He’s also a two-time liver transplant survivor which inspired him to pivot from aerospace and intelligence to healthcare. He has taken businesses from startup to scale by integrating systems and data across the health ecosystem to enable better decisions and outcomes for patients, providers, and health systems.
