Dr Jeremy Chrisp is a biotechnology entrepreneur with extensive experience in the commercialisation of medical and healthcare technologies. His focus is on business development and the management of early-stage life science opportunities. Jeremy holds a PhD in physiology from the University of Canterbury (NZ) and is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD). He has over thirty years’ experience in the Australian healthcare market, having worked with leading global multinational companies, including Merck & Co, Stryker, Becton Dickinson & Medtronic. Of note, Jeremy was the inaugural entrepreneur-in- residence at the University of Sydney in 2001; recipient of the inaugural BioFirst Commercialisation Award from the NSW Department of State and Regional Development in 2004; awarded first place for investment pitch quality and effectiveness, Biotech Startup Day, Boston 2016; and was also awarded first place for best investment pitch, Startup Slam at BIO-Europe Autumn, Cologne 2016. Jeremy is the founding CEO and director of EpiAxis Therapeutics.
