Jennifer Petty is the Senior Director of Human Resources at Eli Lilly & Company’s manufacturing site in Durham, North Carolina. With over a decade of global HR leadership experience, Jenn is passionate about creating people-first cultures that accelerate access to life-changing medicines. She blends expertise in HR, communications, learning and development, and data analytics to drive meaningful change and build high-performing organizations. Jenn is deeply committed to strengthening North Carolina’s Life Sciences ecosystem. She serves on the Wake Tech Biotechnology Advisory Board and the NC Life Sciences Apprenticeship Consortium, where she helps shape the future of biotech talent. Most recently, she supported the creation of the region’s first collaborative apprenticeship program— uniting three life sciences companies to build a biomechatronic talent pipeline for the state. Her work reflects a strong belief in inclusive leadership and a culture of belonging. Jenn holds a BA in English Literature from St. Mary-of-the-Woods College and is a Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Certified Professional.
