Jean-Marc Bourez is CEO of EIT Health and former director general at EIT Health France since 2016. In this position, Bourez is the head of the Venture Centre of Excellence, a collaborative programme co-led with the European Investment Fund to develop a pan-European platform of co-investment in life sciences. Bourez is also chairman and co-founder of a medtech company founded in 2017. Bourez has experienced many different positions in the pharma industry since 1992, including in commercial operations, field medic training, product management, and customer relationship management. He is also former head of e-Health and open innovation process at Sanofi.
