Jan Lichtenberg is CEO and Co-Founder of InSphero AG, the global market leader in 3D cell-based assay and organ-on-chip technologies for preclinical drug discovery and safety testing. Under his leadership, InSphero has grown into a trusted partner to 18 of the top 20 pharmaceutical companies, delivering scalable human in vitro models that are reshaping how the industry adopts New Approach Methodologies. He brings a combination of engineering, product management, and marketing expertise to the life sciences. This perspective has shaped InSphero's defining principle: that scientific innovation creates value only when it can be implemented reliably within existing industrial workflows. He has driven the company's growth from a Swiss academic spin-off into an international organization spanning Europe and the United States, including a focused buy-and-build strategy that has broadened its scientific and commercial reach.
