James Lazarovits, Ph.D., is Co-Founder and CEO of Archon Biosciences, where he is engineering biology through geometry by creating a new class of programmable antibody-based therapeutics. He previously served as research faculty at the University of Washington’s Institute for Protein Design, co-leading work in geometric protein design and antibody engineering. James completed his postdoctoral training in David Baker’s lab and holds a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto under Dr. Warren Chan. In addition to life sciences, he has extensive experience building and investing in startups across software, hardware, and robotics.
