Isaac Veinbergs, Ph.D. is the Global Head of Business Development, Neuroscience, Ophthalmology, and Rare Disease, Roche. He previously served as Chief Executive Officer and President and Chief Business Officer of Libra Therapeutics. As its founding CEO, Isaac was instrumental in launching the firm with a $29M Series A syndicate led by Boehringer Ingelheim Venture Fund, Epidarex Capital, and Santé. His expertise spans the full lifecycle of drug development—from foundational CNS research to strategic business development and international collaborations. Prior to Libra, Isaac held leadership roles at ACADIA, Sanofi, and others, where he successfully managed discovery programs and cross-functional teams. He earned a Ph.D. in Molecular Pathology from the UC San Diego School of Medicine.
