Dr. Irene Agodoa is a biotech executive with a wealth of experience in program and portfolio strategy, development, and medical affairs. She has led functions throughout commercialization, guiding early-stage clinical programs and launching innovative therapies to help improve the lives of patients with high unmet need. Dr. Agodoa is currently Senior Vice President and Head of Medical Affairs at Orca Bio. Prior to Orca, Irene was an executive leader in portfolio strategy and management and the vice president of medical affairs at Global Blood Therapeutics. Spanning multiple therapeutic areas, her experience also includes leadership roles with increasing responsibility at Sanofi and Amgen. Dr. Agodoa earned her bachelor's degree in chemistry and her medical degree from The Ohio State University.
