Hunter Newman, PhD, is Co-Founder and CEO of OsteoCure Therapeutics, a Duke University spinout developing first-in-class adenosine-based therapies for osteoporosis and orthopedic indications. He has over a decade of experience in translational biomaterials and bone regeneration research, focused on advancing innovative musculoskeletal therapies from the lab toward commercialization.
Dr. Newman received his PhD in Mechanical Engineering and Materials Science from Duke University. He also brings venture and startup experience from his time as a Hatteras Venture Partners Fellow, where he worked with emerging life science companies. At OsteoCure, he leads company strategy, fundraising, business development, and execution across the company’s pipeline.
