Hugo Saavedra is a healthcare executive and entrepreneur with over 20 years of leadership experience across pharmaceuticals, digital health, and healthcare innovation. Known for accelerating business growth, he is recognized for creating clear strategic visions and rallying high-performing teams around shared goals across the United States, Latin America, and Asia. Hugo is currently the Co-Founder, CEO of KYAN Technologies, where he has successfully evolved the company from its academic origins into a pioneering innovator in functional precision medicine for cancer care. Under his leadership, KYAN is now commercializing its Optim.AI platform across Southeast Asia and the Middle East & Africa, while preparing for future launch in the United States through a strategic collaboration with Mayo Clinic to support clinical validation and adoption. Previously, Hugo held senior leadership roles in pharma and digital health, driving regional growth, expanding oncology portfolios, and creating strategic partnerships to commercialize precision medicine and AI-powered diagnostic solutions in emerging markets. Hugo holds an MBA from Thunderbird University and completed the Executive Management program at INSEAD.
