Shahrukh K. Hashmi, M.D., studies cancer survivorship and late effects of blood and marrow transplantation. This includes physical and psychosocial illnesses that result as a late effect of chemotherapy or radiation. The translational aspect of Dr. Hashmi's research focuses on the biology of aging in cancer survivors. Dr. Hashmi's interests also include development of novel agents for treatment of graft-versus-host disease.
