Haeyoung Suh-Kim pursued Microbiology and Genetic Engineering at Seoul National University (Seoul, Korea) and earned a Ph.D. focusing on 'cloning a voltage-gated calcium channel' from Baylor College of Medicine (Houston, TX). Serving as a Professor at Ajou School of Medicine (Suwon, Korea), she spearheaded the development of a platform technology utilizing mesenchymal stem cells as carriers to deliver therapeutic genes for cancer treatment.
