Since 2021, Gregor Fachinger has served as Head of Oncology & IO Business Development at Merck KGaA with global responsibility for search, evaluation and transaction of preclinical, clinical and commercial external opportunities for Merck Oncology. He joined Merck after 10 years at Bayer AG, where he served as Director of Business Development, Oncology, where he had global responsibilities for S&E and transaction projects in oncology. He also served as a global project leader for oncology development at Bayer. Previously, he was a research scientist and early licensing chief of staff at Schering AG.
