Elsa is Director, Discovery Oncology at Merck Research Labs in Boston, where she leads internal teams responsible for target identification, validation, and drug discovery across different therapeutic modalities and tumor indications; plays key roles in several external collaborations; and performs scientific and strategic evaluation of potential licensing and partnership opportunities. Prior to her current role at Merck, she held positions at KSQ Therapeutics and Celsius Therapeutics following a PhD at Harvard University and postdoctoral training at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and the Broad Institute.
