Liz Wu is Director, External Scientific Innovation Transactions where she identifies and structures early-stage licensing, collaboration, and investment opportunities aligned with J&J Innovative Medicine's strategy. Previously, she worked in venture investments at JJDC, where she managed equity investments to drive business innovation for the Consumer Health and Pharm sectors. She also supported J&J’s Asia Pacific Innovation Center transactions team while on global assignment in Seoul, South Korea. She began her career in R&D at L’Oréal, leading external partnerships in skin biology and novel in vitro tools. Liz earned her Ph.D. in Bioengineering from UC San Diego and completed postdoctoral research at A*STAR in Singapore.
