Dr. Elaine Hamm is a biotech entrepreneur and investor focused on translating scientific innovation into scalable healthcare solutions. She serves as President and CEO of Ascend BioVentures and leads multiple life science companies, including Cadenza Bio and Otologic Pharmaceutics. Her work spans women’s health, neuroscience, and regenerative medicine, with a focus on advancing early-stage therapeutics through strategic partnerships and commercialization. Elaine is also Executive in Residence at Tulane University School of Medicine, where she mentors emerging biotech founders and supports academic-industry collaboration. She holds a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Oklahoma.
