David Del Bourgo

David Del Bourgo is the CEO and co-founder of WhiteLab Genomics, with more than 25 years of international experience driving innovation at the intersection of engineering, genomics, and digital health. Trained as a biomedical engineer, he has built his career around bridging science and business to bring transformative healthcare technologies to market.
Before founding WhiteLab Genomics, David led commercial, marketing, and technical teams in both genomic and medtech industries. He spent seven years at GE Healthcare, where he contributed to cardiovascular imaging innovation across x-ray and nuclear modalities, and later headed global marketing and commercial operations at Genomic Vision, expanding its genomic analysis portfolio worldwide. His earlier experience also includes strategic consulting and growth leadership in medical technology companies.
David holds an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and dual Master’s degrees in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Technology of Compiègne and Tel Aviv University. Passionate about the convergence of AI and life sciences, he champions data-driven innovation that accelerates therapeutic discovery and bridges the gap between computation and biology. A regular public speaker, he has presented at major international events such as VivaTech and the ASGCT Annual Meeting.
