David serves as Chief Business Officer at Avistone Biotechnology, a global Oncology company focused on targeted therapeutics. He has over 20 years of experience at top Multi-National Companies and leading biopharmaceutical firms. He has broad based global strategy and business development experience focusing on Oncology, Neuroscience, and Rare/Orphan diseases therapeutic areas. Before joining Avistone, David worked at Biohaven Pharmaceuticals and served as Chief Strategy Officer of the China/Asia Pacific affiliate (BioShin Limited) and was Vice President, Head of Business Development at Intercept Pharmaceuticals. Other prior experience includes various senior roles in Strategy, Corporate Development, and Business Development at Bristol Myers Squibb, Janssen (Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicines) and Jazz Pharmaceuticals. He was also a Vice President, Health Care Analyst at Lehman Brothers covering US Major Pharmaceutical companies. David holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, a Master’s degree from the Johns Hopkins School of Public Health, and a Bachelor’s degree from Pomona College.
