Dr. David Burkhart is the Chief Executive Officer and a Co-Founder of Inimmune. A passionate, direct and results oriented team leader, he strives to bring out the best in people by inspiring them to realize their untapped potential. Dr. Burkhart brings nearly 20 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industries with proficiencies in project management, leadership, business development, licensing, medicinal and analytical chemistry, formulation, and drug delivery. He led the formulation R&D team at GlaxoSmithKline, where he leveraged his expertise in targeted drug delivery to focus on the formulation and nanoparticle delivery of vaccines and immunotherapeutics.
