David Greenwald, Ph.D., serves as chief executive officer of Aviko Radiopharmaceuticals and sits on the company’s board of directors. Since 2018, Dave has been vice president, business development on the therapeutics team at Deerfield Management. Before joining Deerfield, he was the director of business development at Johns Hopkins Technology Ventures. Dave was a co-founder and chief executive officer of Relay Technology Management, Inc., and a co-inventor of the Relay Innovation Engine software platform. After Relay was acquired by Decision Resources Group, he served as the director of client solutions there. Dave was a Howard Hughes Medical Institute research fellow while earning a bachelor’s degree in cellular biology and molecular genetics from the University of Maryland, College Park, and earned his doctorate in genetics from Tufts University. He currently serves on the boards of Jaguar Gene Therapy, Axovia Therapeutics Apertura Gene Therapy, Innervace and Aviko.
