Dr. Daniel Gibbs is the Co-Founder and CEO of Cirsium Biosciences, a San Diego based biotech company developing next generation manufacturing technologies for viral vectors using whole plants as modular bioreactors. He has 25 years of experience developing gene therapies for CNS, ocular and neuromuscular disorders. Prior to Founding Cirsium Bio, Dr Gibbs was head of vector development and engineering at Locanabio, senior director of research operations at the Salk Institute, and was faculty in the Center for Neural Repair in the Dept. of Neurosciences at UCSD.
