Director General Shih of National Health Insurance Administration, Taiwan, has served as Vice Minister, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Director-General, Department of Medical Affairs, Ministry of Health and Welfare, Secretary General, Ministry of Health and Welfare and many other public health related posts. He received his M.D. from Kaohsiung Medical University and his PhD degree from the Institute of Health Policy and Management, National Taiwan University. Dr. Shih also received trainings at Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Singapore and Federal Executive Institute, USA.
