Chris Shen has nearly 15 years of experience in the biotechnology industry, including 12 years in the cell therapy industry. He was an early employee at Kite Pharma and has helped to bring 4 cell therapy products into the clinic, including 2 which have gained commercial approval, generating nearly $2B in annual sales. He has extensive experience building and leading teams. He led the technology transfer of Yescarta to China, becoming the first commercially approved CAR-T therapy in that country. He also oversaw the tech transfer and eventual licensure of the first end-to-end CAR-T manufacturing facility in Europe as Head of Manufacturing Sciences & Technology there.
