Brett Johnson is the Director of State Government Affairs at Amgen. Before joining Amgen, Brett worked as the Senior Director of Gene Therapy Public Policy at Novartis and has also worked as Senior Director of Policy and Regulatory Affairs at the California Life Sciences Association. Brett graduated with his MS in Bioscience Regulatory Affairs from The Johns Hopkins University, law degree from The George Washington University Law School, and graduated with his M.P.H. in Health Policy from The George Washington University. Brett has extensive experience in the dynamics of healthcare policy, and specific expertise in fields including public policy analysis, legislative relations and healthcare relations.
