Christina is CEO of Orlia and Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at the University of Otago, New Zealand. With broad interests in instrument design and integration, Christina’s research focuses on real-time process control of cultivation systems. With Dr. Evelyn Armstrong, Christina won the University of Otago’s 2022 Proof of Concept Competition for commercially promising research. She is now working with a team of scientists to develop new approaches to optimize bioreactor and fermenter conditions and increase production efficiency.
