Caroline Lowenthal is an Alliance Manager in MIT's Office of Strategic Alliances and Technology Transfer. She has been at MIT since 2018. Her portfolio includes agreements with industry sponsors from life sciences, physical sciences, and tech. Previously, Caroline was Managing Director of a Science and Technology Center on Emergent Behaviors of Integrated Cellular Systems in MIT’s Department of Biological Engineering. Her background includes initiating sponsored research consortia with pharmaceutical industry members, working closely with faculty across MIT, and managing collaborations with partners. Caroline holds a BS and an MS in AeroAstro and an MS in Technology and Policy, all from MIT. She has previously spoken at the Humanizing Drug Development Annual Meeting and at the Association for Science and Technology Centers Annual Conference as well as at the Museum of Science in Boston, MA.
