Dr. Keller obtained his Ph.D. in Biochemistry with subsequent post-doctoral work in Pharmaceutical Chemistry at Kansas University. He has 37 years of experience in drug discovery and development within the pharmaceutical industry – both large pharma (14 yrs) and small startup companies (13 yrs). He has worked in early discovery to identify new drug molecules (small molecules, monoclonal antibodies and oncolytic viruses), and has significant experience in moving candidates through preclinical development into clinical testing. Dr. Keller has worked in the areas of lipid metabolism, hypertension, liver disease, inflammation and oncology. For the last 5 years, he has served as VP Preclinical Development for i-Cordis, LLC, and as President and CEO of Accuronix Therapeutics, a small St. Louis-based company focused on developing drugs for cancer therapy. He has more than 70 published papers and abstracts detailing his scientific work.
