Dr. Bradlee Heckmann is a leading biotech founder and executive. He is the co-founder, President & Chief Scientific Officer of Asha Therapeutics and is a Life Sciences Partner & Advisor at Arcadia Investment Partners. In addition to his commercial activities, Dr. Heckmann leads an academic research group focused on neuroimmunity and neurotherapeutics at the USF Health Neuroscience Institute. In addition to his primary activities, Dr. Heckmann serves as the chief science officer of the Luka Shai Foundation, a pediatric rare disease research organization, is a Fox Advisor to the Michael J. Fox Foundation and is an advisor and board member of various companies in the biotech and pharmaceutical space. Dr. Heckmann received his doctoral degree in molecular biology and biochemistry from the Mayo Clinic College of Medicine and he is an internationally recognized molecular biologist and pharmacologist with extensive expertise in drug development, rare & orphan diseases, metabolic diseases, and neurodegenerative/neuromuscular disorders.
