Bill Sarraille has been appointed as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland’s Francis King Carey School of Law, where he teaches, among other topics, on drug pricing issues, including the Inflation Reduction Act. He is the founder of Sarraille & Associates, a consultancy, where he represents patient groups and biologics manufacturers in market access issues, including strategy around responding to the Inflation Reduction Act. He served for many years as the Senior Partner for regulatory issues in the Health Care, Life Sciences, and Privacy and Security Practices. He helped launch hundreds of new products there in both the large and small molecule markets, was a leading advocate for rare drug access, and represented companies in some of the largest fraud and abuse investigations ever brought by the United States. Bill, as a rare disease patient himself, has been a leading critic of the IRA and its threat to innovation.
