April brings a long and successful career in the media and biopharma industry. Before Joining Caliway (TPEX 6919 )as the VP for Business Development and Public Affairs, She was the Head of Public Affairs and Communication for Sanofi Taiwan and Hong Kong. During her tenure, April built an unparallel team focusing on Patients Affairs, Government Affairs, Glocal/Corporate Communications,Product Communications, and Media Affairs. She was also the Vice President,Corporate Affairs at Act Genomics, where she led the company’s marketing efforts in establishing its global operation as the leader in genomics profiling providers in Asia. Prior to Act Genomics, April was a member of the founding team at AbGenomics, Taiwan’s premium antibody therapeutic biopharma, as the Vice President, Business Development. Before she took on the biotech challenge, April had been an accomplished medical correspondent and TV caster with her last position as the Producer for 5 News programming and US Bureau Chief, News Department. April received her M.B.A. at National Taiwan University, her M.S. from New York University, and her B.S. from Boston University.
