Antonella Lozito is an Executive Director, Regulatory Strategy, Infectious Diseases at Moderna. In her current role, Antonella is responsible for leading a high performing regulatory team responsible for registration and lifecycle management of Moderna’s respiratory vaccines, including COVID-19 mRNA vaccines. Antonella has 20 years of experience in providing leadership to strategic and operational aspects of Regulatory Affairs for products across all stages of the product development lifecycle, from preclinical and clinical development (IND/CTA applications) through NDA/BLA/MAA preparations and approvals for drugs, biologics and combination products in multiple therapeutic areas and geographies. As team leader, Antonella has driven global regulatory interactions and milestones with the FDA, EMA, Health Canada, MHRA, PMDA and other national authorities at development and post-approval milestones. As a regulatory professional and a pharmacist by training, Antonella finds inspiration in being able to impact the health of individuals worldwide. Antonella earned a PharmD from St. John’s University in New York.
