Anita Kass

Kaass Discovery
Dr. Anita Kåss is a physician-scientist, founder and CEO of Kaass Discovery, with over 20 years of clinical experience. She has extensive experience in translational medicine, bridging clinical observations with therapeutic development. Her earlier work contributed to Norway’s largest hospital-originated biotech licensing agreement.
She was awarded the Arthritis Research UK Award, which led her to pursue a PhD at the University of Oslo (completed in 2014). In 2017, she received “Doctor of the Year” recognition from colleagues in Norway.
Together with her co-founder, she has secured multiple grants and awards, including Horizon Europe funding, WomenTechEU funding (European Innovation Council, Top 50 Female Leaders in Tech, 2021), and the Best Start-Up Prize from Innovation Norway.
