Angela Ailloni is Vice President of Business Development for Agriculture at Ginkgo Bioworks, supporting ag biological, plant trait, and bioproduction R&D for external partners - from discovery to formulation/fermentation optimization. Angela also serves as a Member of BIO’s Executive Committee and on BIO’s Ag & Environment Board. Angela holds an MBA from Cornell and a Bachelor of Science from MIT. Angela has worked in Pharma R&D portfolio management and strategy at Wyeth (now Pfizer) in Food and Agriculture - with roles in strategy, strategy execution, business development, and sustainability at Nestle, Land O’Lakes, and Calyxt. Her current area of focus at Ginkgo Bioworks is on science-driven discovery for plant traits and agbio products for crop inputs. Angela is passionate about ag, food security, and climate, seeking to bring meaningful changes to ag through the power of synbio.
