Ana Moreno received a bachelor’s degree in Biosystems Engineering from the University of Arizona with a focus on biosensors; and master’s and doctorate degrees in Bioengineering from the University of California San Diego with a research focus on epigenome editing via CRISPR-dCas9 and zinc-finger platforms, and was awarded the Engelson award for Best PhD Thesis. Dr. Moreno founded Navega Therapeutics in 2018, a startup developing epigenetic gene therapies for common and complex diseases.
