Amy is the Head of Product Management at Acer Medical with over 15 years of experience in the field of biomedical sciences. She joined Acer Medical’s business development team in 2020 to expand the implementation of AI driven diagnostic imaging solutions to clinical institutions. She subsequently transitioned to take on a new role to build and lead the product management team that includes the management of AI driven Software as Medical Device (SaMD) products, regulatory affairs, and quality assurance. Under her leadership, Acer Medical has launched 3 AI driven SaMD products to the market and implemented these AI solutions to over 250 clinical institutions. Prior to joining Acer Medical, Amy has worked in the biomedical industry across various functions including research and development, project management, product management, and business development. Before transitioning to the field of AI, her research focused on the application of microfluidic technologies to 3D cell culture and regenerative medicine. Amy received her BS in Bioengineering from UC Berkeley, her MS and PhD in Biomedical Engineering from University of Michigan, and her postdoctoral training from The University of Tokyo.
