Alina Meltaus is the Chief of Staff for the National Security Commission on Emerging Biotechnology. Alina brings a decade of experience in the United States Senate to the Commission, most recently serving as Administrative Director for Senator Jon Ossoff (GA) where she helped stand up his new Senate office. Prior to joining Senator Ossoff’s office, Alina held administrative and executive support roles in Senator Bob Casey’s (PA) office. She has built scheduling and advance teams on federal campaigns and supported logistics for the 2017 and 2021 Presidential Inaugurations through the Joint Congressional Committee on Inaugural Ceremonies. She holds a BA from Allegheny College.
