Ali Aydın. Ozuer, PhD

Aydın Ali Ozuer has over 25 years of international experience in biotechnology, cell & gene therapies, and cGMP manufacturing. He graduated from Middle East Technical University with a degree in Chemical Engineering and completed his graduate and doctoral studies in Chemical Engineering at University of Pittsburgh. He also completed graduate studies in Strategy & Operations Management and Clinical Research. He began his career as a Process Engineer at SEKA in Türkiye and later held senior roles in process development, technology transfer, global manufacturing services, and cell and gene therapies at the University of Pittsburgh and global pharmaceutical companies such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis, Sanofi, and Takeda Pharmaceutical Company in the US. Throughout his career, he has taken on responsibilities across the full lifecycle from early-stage development to regulatory processes & commercialization, contributing to key projects in biotechnology and advanced therapies. He played a leadership role in the team that achieved FDA and EMA clinical trial approvals for Türkiye’s first national biosimilar monoclonal antibody and held leadership responsibility in the CMC submission of Kymriah, the first FDA-approved gene therapy (CAR T-cell therapy) in the US. Since August 2021, he has been serving as President, AbdiBio, leading biotechnology strategy and innovation-led growth.
