Dr. Adrienne Davenport is Managing Director of the BASF Biotechnology Innovation Center, providing Bioservices for internal and external partners and customers with an end-to-end biotechnology platform from gene discovery and optimization to commercial production of biobased products, biocatalysts, enzymes and therapeutics. Adrienne holds a PhD from the University of Washington, conducted post-doctoral studies at The Université de Liege, Belgium and The Pennsylvania State University, and served as a Program Manager at The National Science Foundation’s Office of International Science and Engineering before moving to industry. Adrienne is very passionate about creating sustainable solutions for current global challenges and increasing quality of life using the power of biotechnology and is excited to support the vibrant synthetic biology and life sciences ecosystem to help accelerate and mature innovative technologies.
