Adriana Herrera joined Pierre Fabre in February 2024 as Chief Executive Officer to establish Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals, the U.S. subsidiary, and to lead commercialization for an innovative and breakthrough allogeneic cell therapy for patients living with EBV+ PTLD, a rare and potentially deadly cancer facing median survival of only a few months. Pierre Fabre will expand the US Pharmaceutical business with a focus on precision oncology, cell therapy and rare diseases. Adriana brings with her passion for purpose and an unwavering commitment to patients living with rare diseases. She brings to Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals a combination of strong, decisive leadership, execution excellence and an ability to inspire teams to exceed their potential to achieve breakthrough performance. She is highly people-focused with an emphasis on developing talent and creating inclusive team cultures. Prior to joining Pierre Fabre Pharmaceuticals, Adriana served as the US General Manager for Kite Pharma, where she was responsible for the successful commercialization of the autologous CART-cell therapy portfolio and led the US Marketing, Sales and Value and Access functions to meet and exceed targets. Adriana joined Kite from Eisai where she served as Senior Vice President and Commercial Head for U.S. Oncology, leading a high-growth, fast paced oncology organization and establishing a culture of transparency, trust, and empowerment. Prior to her tenure at Eisai, Adriana served in a variety of leadership roles with high accountability and responsibility at Novartis Oncology, including Vice President, Global Disease Lead for Lung and for Genitourinary Cancers and Executive Business Director responsible for US sales. She began her pharmaceutical career at Bristol-Myers Squibb and held positions across in-line marketing and early commercialization in a variety of therapeutic areas. Adriana earned her MBA/MPH from Columbia Business School and Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. She holds a BA in Biology from Rutgers University. On a personal note, Adriana, her husband Jon and two daughters, Natalie and Alison, along with their beloved dogs live in LA, California. Adriana enjoys travelling with the family, reading and walking her dogs.
