Yuta Lee founded Accelerated Biosciences Corp in September of 2013 to commercialize the allogeneic human trophoblast stem cell (hTSC) platform, discovered by his father, Professor Jau-Nan Lee, M.D. Ph.D. hTSCs are the earliest pre-implantation, pre-placental cells that you can source ethically. Accelerated Bio has been awarded 58+ patents worldwide. Accelerated Bio’s pipeline includes Resistant Hypertension, Psoriasis, Parkinson’s Disease, Type 1 Diabetes, as well as collaborating with the NIH on Cell Senescence. Yuta has dual B.A. degree in economics and legal studies from the University of California, Berkeley. Yuta earned his MBA in 2009 from China Europe International Business School in Shanghai, China and graduated with the Outstanding Graduate of the Year Award.
