Vic Suarez is the Founder of Blu Zone Bioscience & Supply Chain Solutions. He retired from the U.S. Army after serving for over 27 years as a Biotechnology Advanced Developer and Health Care Supply Chain senior leader. His unique background enabled him to lead and bring disruptive and innovative solutions to complex biotech, national security, and supply chain programs. From 2021-2023, he served as a Medical Logistics Command Commander with Global responsibilities and was a lead advanced drug developer and program manager at the DOD and HHS BARDA. Vic also served as the Chief of Staff at the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research (WRAIR), DOD’s largest biomedical research and development lab with facilities on four continents. He is a visiting Senior Fellow at the Council on Strategic Risks, a DC-based National Security Think Tank, and an Adjunct Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University, the DOD’s Medical School in Bethesda, MD.
