Vassilis Tsanidis is an Innovation Procurement Advisor at the European Innovation Council (EIC), leading the EIC BAS Innovation Procurement programme to promote the uptake of EIC innovations by public and private buyers in Europe and globally. With over 10 years of experience in the European Commission, including DG CNECT, he has shaped key policies to support innovation procurement at EU and national levels. He has also served as a TAIEX expert and trainer, designing certified training for Greek public officers. Before joining the Commission, he held legal and technical roles in Greek government and EU-funded bodies. He holds a PhD and degrees in law and social sciences.
