Tom Hickey is a clinical research leader with over 17 years of experience in the biopharma industry, specializing in early-phase development and novel therapy platforms. As Director of Therapeutic Strategy at Novotech, a globally recognized full-service clinical research organization (CRO) and scientific advisory company, Tom leads the Infectious Disease and Immunology portfolio, guiding sponsors through complex clinical development decisions from study design to endpoint strategy. With a strong focus on innovation and operational excellence, Tom has supported trials across a range of advanced modalities, including cell and gene therapies, and brings deep regional insight into the Asia-Pacific clinical landscape. He is also Novotech’s subject matter expert for Hepatitis B, an area that reflects his personal and professional commitment to advancing treatment breakthroughs. Prior to Novotech, Tom held leadership roles in Clinical Operations and Business Development at IQVIA, Southern Star Research, and CTI Clinical Trial & Consulting, where he contributed to the design and delivery of high-impact global trials.
