Sung Chun Kim began his career in 1989 as a researcher at LG Life Sciences, Ltd., where he later advanced to serve as Vice President of Business Development and Chief Technology Officer. Under his visionary leadership, LG Life Sciences achieved regulatory approval for seven innovative drugs, including three synthetic drugs, three biologics, and two vaccines, through prestigious agencies such as the FDA, EMEA, PMDA, NMPA, and WHO. Following his tenure at LG Life Sciences, Dr. Kim served as Chief Scientific Officer (CSO) of the Korea Drug Development Fund, a government initiative in South Korea, which invested about $150 M over 162 projects, and subsequently as CSO and President of Olipass. In 2023, he founded Gifted Molecular Science, continuing his commitment to advancing pharmaceutical innovation. Dr. Kim holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Texas A&M University.
